All first orders placed by Sunday night at 8pm EST will arrive by Wednesday. If your order is placed after Sunday night at 8pm, you will receive your first order by the following Wednesday.

Once you sign up for a subscription, all subsequent orders (after the first order) you can expect to receive your order each week by Friday with a guaranteed arrival by Saturday, in case of a delay in the carrier network. You will always have through the previous Sunday at 8pm EST to modify your meals or to request a hold on the following week’s delivery.

Once your order is ready to go, you will receive an email with tracking information so you can keep an eye on your order.
Although we ship our meals frozen, we cook them each week to ensure the freshest meal is delivered to your door.

When your order leaves our facility, control and responsibility over the package are transferred completely to our carrier network- primarily UPS. If you notice an issue with your scheduled delivery, please reach out to UPS at 1 (800) 742-5877. If the issue is not resolved, contact our Membership Team at tb12@thegoodkitchen.com and we will assist in resolving the issue.

If you need to change your shipping information, please contact our Membership Team ASAP at TB12@thegoodkitchen.com. If the order has not been filled yet, we are glad to correct the information on your behalf. If the order has already been shipped however, we are unfortunately not able to adjust any delivery information.

In the microwave:

1. Remove the band from tray and leave clear film intact.

2. Set power on HIGH for 3 to 5 minutes.* While cooking, a dome will form over the meal.

3. For best results, continue cooking as dome forms and stop microwave when the dome begins to deflate — you may also hear air escaping the dome.

4. The meal is hot! Let sit for 1 minute to allow the dome to fully deflate before removing clear film.

5. Avoid contact with escaping steam. Peel back film from the corner of the tray and enjoy!

For best results allow seafood meals to thaw in refrigerator
overnight before heating.

Absolutely! Our packaging is BPA-free, BPS-free, and free of VOC migration.

Nope! Our packaging is designed to stay intact and steam the food to preserve its intended texture. The film will puff up during the heating process and can be easily cut and removed after it cools.

While our trays are NOT oven-safe, you may still transfer the contents from the tray to an oven-safe dish and heat them up that way. A saute pan would also do the trick!

Want to order TB12 meals just once? Awesome. Make your selections, follow the prompts to check out and you're all set.

Follow the same steps for a one-time order, then select frequency during checkout. Options are every week, every other week, of every 4 weeks.

First order cut off is Sunday before midnight (Eastern) and will deliver on the Friday after the cutoff. All first orders are charged on the day the order is submitted.

Recurring orders will be charged the Sunday that falls 7+ days from the original order/ charge date. For example, a Wednesday first order/ charge recurs on the Sunday which falls 11 days after the first charge. All deliveries will arrive on Friday of each week unless you cancel or modify your subscription. 

Any subscription not cancelled by Saturday at midnight (Eastern) will automatically renew on the same schedule and with the same meals. You are able to change your meal selection each week by Saturday before midnight (Eastern) for your Friday delivery. See FAQ Cancel or Modify a Subscription section below for additional information.


Log in to your account and remove each item in your meal plan. Each item must be removed to cancel the subscription from recurring.

Yes! Simply log into your account by Saturday at midnight to change your meals for your next delivery. Be sure to deselect the meals you do not wish to receive and simply add the ones that you do want to receive!  If you do not modify your meals each week, you will receive the same meals until a modification is made. 

Simply log in to your account, remove the meals you do not wish to have recur and select the meals you would like for your next delivery. A minimum of 5 meals is required.

Recurring orders must be cancelled by the time they are set to renew. Just log in to your account and remove all subscribed items.

We stand by our product and guarantee your meals to be perfect on arrival. We love our customers and want to do everything in our power to make things right should a problem arise. If you have an issue with our product, please contact our Member Services team. You may be asked to provide a photo of the issue to help us improve our processes going forward. 

Due to the prepared nature of our meals, we cannot accept returned meals. Should there be an issue with your delivery due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, our staff will work in conjunction with UPS as diligently as possible to correct those issues.

We take great pride in sourcing our products with integrity from farmers we trust and providing a product that contains only real foods that you will recognize. We abide by the “Dirty Dozen/Clean Fifteen” and use organic as much as possible outside of that.

Yes! Our facility is 100% gluten-free and peanut-free.


All of our entrees are shipped frozen. Our meals are made fresh each week and frozen to help preserve the meals longer for you!

Our meals may be kept frozen and consumed within 6 months of delivery. You can also thaw your TB12 meals upon delivery. All meals with the exception of seafood may be eaten within 10 days of thawing. Seafood meals should be consumed within 72 hours of thawing.

Frozen meals should be consumed or refrozen within 10 days of thawing, with the exception of seafood items. Seafood items should be consumed within 72 hours of thawing.  Check out what the USDA has to say for more info!

Our packaging configurations are designed to maintain an optimal temperature to safely transport meals. If your entrees have thawed out during their journey, this is okay! Just throw those meals into your freezer to refreeze. 

The USDA states that as long as the meals are refrozen within five days of thawing, there is no issue in refreezing food.


Absolutely! Sustainability is a priority for us and at the forefront of every decision we make. All the materials in your delivery are curbside recyclable. (The gel packs are reusable and non toxic. They must be emptied in the sink before recycling.)

Due to health and safety regulations, we are unable to accept used boxes or packing materials. Please, make sure you are helping to reduce our footprint by recycling and reusing your packaging!
